Bahram Tavassoli
Partner · Business and partnership disputes
Bahram tries business cases, and settles more of them than he tries. He thinks the best time to plan for trial is the first week.
Bahram spent his first years as a lawyer defending companies in commercial cases at a downtown firm. He joined Marit to work for the owners on both sides of those disputes, many of whom had never been in a courtroom.
He leads the business and partnership group, and takes the firm's cases to trial when they don't settle.

Bahram's parents ran a rug and furniture store in Ogden for thirty years, where he learned that most business fights start with a handshake nobody wrote down.
He coaches his daughter's debate team and cooks for a crowd most Sundays.
